EPA Lead-Safe Certified for Your Safety

When it comes to choosing a company to remodel your home, it is important to choose a firm that is EPA Lead-Safe Certified. According to the EPA, lead and lead compounds have been used in a wide variety of products found in and around our homes, including paint, ceramics, pipes and plumbing materials. Renovations, repairs, or painting activities can create toxic lead dust when painted surfaces are disturbed or demolished. Home repairs that create a small amount of lead can be poisonous to children and families. The Lead Renovation, Repair and Painting (RRP) Rule establishes requirements for firms and individuals performing renovations, and affects contractors, property managers, and others who disturb painted surfaces. This rule requires workers to be certified and trained in the use of lead-safe work practices, and requires renovation, repair, and painting firms to be EPA-certified. The safety of our customers is our top priority and with our EPA Lead-Safe Certification, we know how to keep your home safe while working on renovations.
